Sanctions, Emargoes, and Enders

Sanctions and Embargoes
The sounds of Silence
because

the sounds of money poring into coffers
it roars
shakes wriggles and roars

i hear
money pouring into Pakistan
to keep it out of the hands of radicals
why?
nuclear wareheads

and?
it whispers
shshshshshshshsh
power

feeding the enders

it's only when we pour money and FORCE into them that we give them life

if we turned away
to create new possibilities
anew

oil is the past
we turn away tomorrow

the hate
it annihilates
that's the job of hate and fear
it self-distructs
and if it has nothing to feed on but its own internal problems ?
maybe it can subside into something creative

it's only alive now
because we're feeding it
with our fear
with the sucking sounds of our engines
greeeed
feeding tyrants and torturers
rather than look somewhere else for its income

if WE turn away

so Pakistan has nuclear weapons
so a radical group takes control
who who who
really has to run
who has to limit them
quick
who

who is really at risk?

because radicals don't have sides
they have hates
and fears
and pockets
and pockets need to be fed

DIALOGUE
trade without coercion

What are we upholding ?
communities that are working for the best intersts of the people?
or industries that feed radicals
who bomb their own children

they have reason to want us out
and we should head reason and move out
let them face their children alone
and maybe

to look our children in the eyes
alone

to plant something new
seeds
ideas
and dreams
of a self-expressed future

children playing in the streets
dancing free
art and music and architecture
tinkling glasses
swirling rythms carved with light brushes
stone turrets of swirling delight
singing
a love dance a sword and a glass

time
to build schools, and roads, and industries
tick tock

and
new beginnings
aleph
