sometimes i tell people of my childhood
how my mom abondoned me when I was 9
and my Dad and step mother treated us as if we were crap
and they tell me I have to let it go
but I have let it go
i just want to SHARE who I am

were a blessing

to move out to work on my own

and take him to karate

I recently read about the Calvinist support for apartied

and I remembered a preaching from when I was really young

about how the black race was cursed

and the overwhelming feeling that God woulndn't choose from the first

for an entire group of people to be cursed

and it drove me away from God

it made me wonder

if any of the words were true

if even the idea of God were true

if this one idea was soooo wrong

was anything true and real?





without darkness we wouldn't know light

without hard we wouldn't know soft

without sound we wouldn't know silence




immeresed in a sea of endless silence,
would we know what silence means





maybe i needed the separation

for a little while

to know

what wasn't there

to interpret free from other's interpretations








am I more merciful than the creator of all the universe ?
that didn't add up.



why does evil prosper???

?if my body is dead, and my memories are all in my brain cells, how will I remember anything?



Today, we can look back and see the beginning of the Universe, long before man appeared on earth. It's all there, recorded in light. Maybe one day we will have the equipment to see a race being born on a far off planet millions of years ago, and forward to any time in its history.. Maybe all we have to do is catch the light from its different positions in it journey through the skies.
